The Rivoire is a café located in Piazza della Signoria 5/r. It was founded in 1872 on the ground floor of the nineteenth century Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali. The first receipts from the Rivoire Company read: “Enrico Rivoire - Steam Chocolate Factory". It is precisely for this specialty that the Florentine company became famous. With magnificent terraces overlooking the Square and Palazzo Vecchio, in the early decades of the twentieth century it became an elegant meeting place, where even today the original wood furnishings are combined with quality products.
